The night is wide, almost endless. The sky presses low, heavy with unspoken weather, yet full of quiet stars that cannot be seen, only felt.
A single figure walks across the pale ground, leaving no trace that will last.

There is no drama in the journey, only movement, steady and necessary. Home is not visible, but it is known. The land does not resist; it listens.

In this vastness, the figure is small, yet not lost. Each step carries warmth remembered, light carried inward.
Under the dark sky, the world feels immense, and for a moment, merciful.

245 Centrum Blvd, Orléans, Ottawa, ON, Canada,
on view from January 26 to March 6, 2026.

If purchased before March 6, 2026, the artwork must remain on display until the exhibition closes, in accordance with City of Ottawa exhibition guidelines. The painting will be available for pickup on March 9, 2026, at the Shenkman Art Centre, or may be arranged for FREE delivery within the Ottawa Valley area (Ontario, Canada).
