The course “Northern Landscape. Beginners” contains six lessons.
Access to video tutorials opens according to the schedule of the in-studio course Northern Landscape starting October 2, 2024.

What to do before each class

  1. Please print the references, or make sure they are available on your digital device during the class.

2. If there is template, please transfer it to your watercolour paper.

How to transfer the image:

  1. Print template in colour or black/white.
  2. Hang the printed image on a big sunny window
  3. Tape the watercolour paper over the printed image
  4. Trace the image using a hard pencil (3H).
  5. Tape the watercolour paper to the board.

Lesson 1. Brush work

There is no reference images for the first class.

Please get ready all your brushes and a few sheets of watercolour papers. You are going to practice the brush work.

Lesson 2. Even and gradation washes. Two tones landscape and seascape sketches.
