Materials that you will need:

Watercolour paper: one sheet 100% cotton for the best results

Watercolour brushes:

  • flat hake brush, 40-50 mm
  • round mop brush, 10-13mm
  • flat brush for lifting, 15-20 mm
  • detailed brush, 3-5 mm - calligraphy brush (recommended);

Watercolour paint:

IMPORTANT; Paint in tubes gives you the best results.

  • Cerulean Blue
  • Yellow Ochre
  • Burnt Umber
  • Payne's Grey
  • Ultramarine

Plexiglass board slightly larger than your watercolor paper (or any smooth, non-porous board that allows wet paper to adhere to its surface, such as glass, a mirror, or a flat baking sheet)

Watercolour palette with a large surface for mixing pigments.  Alternatively, you can use a white ceramic plate;

Two large jars for water

Paper towels

Hair dryer

  • flat hake brush, 48 mm
  •  Round  # 6 Paul Rubens
  • calligraphy brush (recommended);
  • flat synthetic brush 3/4 Escoda

Watercolour paint, Van Gogh:

  • Cerulean Blue
  • Payne's Grey
  • Burnt Umber
  • Yellow Ochre
  • Ultramarine
