In this video tutorial you will learn how to paint the beautiful and peaceful scenery of a Canal Boat gliding on the river. This photo was taken on the Burgundy Canal, in the Ouche Valley, Columbier, France. You you learn how to capture the illusion of a reflection on the water surface and create the sense of freshness of the river breeze on an early Spring day. The painting process will cover the Ala Prima techniques such as, infusion washes, lifting and “dry on damp” and “dry on dry” techniques.

This video tutorial suites to all ages and all skills levels. Although some previous experience in watercolour would be a benefit.
