Canadian Landscape. Quebec. Intermediate. Lesson 2. Sepaq. Copy

At the beginning let’s talk about what the SEPAQ stands for. The Société des établissements de plein air du Québec(Sépaq) is proud to operate and develop the territories and establishments entrusted to it by the Gouvernement du Québec.

Sepal is the QUÉBEC’S LARGEST NATURE AND OUTDOOR NETWORK

Quebecers take justifiable pride in their bountiful world of nature, which provides a vast array of places in which to discover, marvel, relax, and enjoy leisure activities. At its 46 establishments, Sépaq offers a wide range of activities and services to meet the expectations of its diverse clientele, each with its own unique characteristics. Moreover, to ensure the maintenance and development of its infrastructures, the natural and cultural heritage entrusted to it, and the activities and services it offers, Sépaq reinvests all profits generated by its operations.

NATIONAL PARKS

Québec’s National Parks network works to ensure the durability of its territories, witnesses to great ecosystems. Québec’s parks are therefore organized to promote discovery while respecting sensitive zones and keeping environmental impacts to a minimum.

In this lesson you will painting a beautiful scenery from the National Park De La Pointe-Taillon. You will practice using a granulating technique to create texture. You will also practice infusion washes.
