Course Content
In this workshop you will be introduced to the relaxin and meditative abstract watercolour painting.
No previous experience required.
For all ages and for all skills levels.
You will take a peak on what we are going to study in the upcoming course ABSTRACT LANDSCAPE. If you interested to learn how to use visual language of shape, from, color and line to create abstract landscape sceneries, this course is for you!
The course ABSTRACT LANDSCAPE is made up of six lessons where you will learn how to create elements of landscape using different techniques. The elements are: air, wood, water and rocks. You will learn how to build an abstract painting that tells the story of moody urban living.

Materials that I am going to use during the workshop:

Watercolour paper
- Paul Rubens, watercolour paper, cotton, 300 gm2, block
Watercolour brushes
- Round # 10-12 Paul Rubens and # 2 Escoda
- Flat synthetic brush 3/4 and 1 1/2 or larger Escoda
Palette knife
Artistic tape (optional)
Watercolour board (optional) (the board which you will tape your watercolour paper to)
Watercolour palette with a large surface for mixing pigments. Alternatively, you can use a white ceramic plate.
Two large jars for water
Paper towels
Sea sponge (optional)
Salt (optional)
Hair dryer (optional)
Watercolour paint; Choose any 4-5 colours that you like the most, plus one neutral colour (dark grey)
I am going to use the following colours:
Yellow Ochre, Daniel Smith
Ultramarine, Daniel Smith
Burnt Sienna, Daniel Smith
Olive Green, Daniel Smith
Yellow Dusk, Van Gogh
Neutral Tint, Daniel Smith
