Practical exercise Granulation
You will study the characteristics of watercolour paints with granulation effect and you will learn how to use them by practicing painting the stones.

In this video let’s create the Library of paints with granulation effect. Please prepare all granulation paints that you have.

In this video you will paint a beautiful exercise of staked balanced stones using paints with granulation effect.

In the video tutorial we will be drawing the stones by hand, but if you want you can use this template.
Please print the template and transfer it to your paper
How to transfer the image:
1. Print it in black/white.
2. Hang the printed image on a big sunny window or use a light table
3. Tape or alight the paper over the printed image
4. Trace the image using a pencil.

Colour Palette for the exercise Stones:

Prince Edward Island is one of mini-courses of the Canadian Landscape set of courses. This time we will travel to Canada’s Atlantic province Prince Edward Island. What this course gives you?
In this course you will improve your skills in painting seascapes, coast lines, surf and sand. You will experiment with the colour palette to create waves, wet send, stones and reflections.
This course contains four lessons. You will continue to learn the theory of atmospheric perspective and use this knowledge in practice. You will paint four seascape scenes, where you will experiment with different watercolour techniques.
