Between Fields and Streets
From the In-between series
Here, the city steps back.
No crowds pass through, no urgency presses forward.
Only the ground remembers footsteps, and trees hold the silence gently.
This place does not ask to be crossed quickly. It exists to slow the heart, to separate without dividing, to protect without enclosing.
Between streets and homes, between movement and rest, the land breathes, and in that breath, the city remembers how to be quiet.
